To say I'm happy is an understatment Just added the original
player from DJ2020 and worked first time I still Have A Long
way to go but passed the worst of it now. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thats everything except the main player inported And I'll start
that after work tomorrow but I'm not expecting problems except
where I need to update 2 that I'm sure about.

Got the import engine working in its basic form I.E. It imports
selected file and finds artist, Recording and label then using
the options adds the matches to the main charts system.
Note it will not allow for the same recording in the same chart
week more than once this way there shouldn’t be a problem with
duplicates.

Have started work on the Update system when A Artist is added
using the current add artist systems All The Entries for that
artist ID is updated.
You may be thinking there are a lot to add you would be right
but I added neally 10,000 Chart details, normally I would expect
there to be between 200 and 2000.
I wouldn't expect it to take long to add all the details once I
have completed the system.

Added the second part of the system that being the add
recordings I still have a lot of work to do with it like with
the related artists at present you have to add them but what I
intend doing is look into the track assignments for the artist
and if the system holds more than one attachment then Using that
data to auto create the relationships, The two systems are
different but the informtion held by the new assignments system
can be used in the old relationships.
I cannot use the assignemts or the relationships system except
for above the original goes back over 15 years and would take a
complete redesign of the charts and recordings system and would
prob slow it down a LOT SO DON'T ASK :)

Also added what is prob the most important object in so much as
if you get it wrong then you will have a mess you wont be able
to fix if left, Say you update a incomeing chart incorrectly
selecting one of your charts with a different format then all
recordings would be added to that format plus all chart details
would be added for that chart creating a complete mass.

I now have the add recordings working so when I add a new
recording it looks at the tracks (Assigned) Relationships and
uses that information to create the same for a combination
artists Recordings, I will also look into reversing this so when
you use the Recordings Artists References it wil look into
adding the artists tracks assignements as well this should speed
up data entry by a large amount.

Labels left but I want to use the system for a while before
finalising it.

One Final Update for today, Had added the linked recording to
the track editor so you can now link tracks to chart singles and
use the chart information.
I'm not going to add these screens to the manual track entry
screen as I want to keep that simple.
