DD's UK Charts Analysis Rules

Since I returned to CTE And Adding Charts I've noticed there are
a lot of singles and albums that the OCC indecate are the same
Release but they seem to bypass the checks.
In my view
[li]If A Release Changes Cat No But The Track Listing remains
the same this should be treated as the same release
[/li]
[li]Where A Release was originally released with x Tracks but
the new release has a different track listing that then becomes
a new release[/li]
[li]Where a release was originally released with a set of mixes
but then reenters chart with same number of tracks but a
different set of mixes it should be treated as a new
release[/li]
[li]Where a release is released with addition cd's I.E. It
changes from a single disk to a multi disc it shoudl be treated
as a new release.[/li]
[li]Should the credited artist(s) Change then this will be
treated as a new release.[/li]
While designing CTE 2525 I have been able to Develope technology
that allows me to add all 10 of my tracked charts in between 2-3
hours that's 960 Entries into my db.
If you have been checking out the UK Charts Analysis you'll
notice I have been able to include a vast amount of information,
I can only do this because of the extra time my systems give me,
the main Albums and singles charts I check every new entry with
a number of sites, This is what lead to this poll.
I am currently updating the data starting with the first
Physical Albums Chart in 1994 Adding Information to each new
entry this is not a small job but am correcting issues as I go.
