Should topics in Random auto-delete after 1 year with no posts?

This is a very big change if I were to make this true, but it
would also mean that we could post more freely in some hidden
sections.

i like to look back on my own stuff (and others) sometimes.
to each their own, if they want to remove their own content,
continue to do so

I think it's pointless to have them auto-delete after a year.
After a year I don't automatically want something deleted. If I
decide I want something deleted I do it when I decide it.
