       In 'The Other Minister'

I always imigined the PM as Tony Blair, and considering JK is a
Labour supporter, and bearing in mind when the books are
supposed to be set, leads me to think that even more.
Anyone else? Or was it just a fictional PM?
EDIT: Just noticed how much I've raped the comma in this post
but gonna leave it like that because that's how cool I am

I wish the book was in front of me, because it seems like she
kind of threw in some clues.
By the timeline, though, it'd be John Major.

       It's cool.
They mention though that the PM before this one was a man, and
the PM before Major was Thatcher, a woman. So it could be that
she just used a generic "every PM."

Yeah good point, he just seemed so Blair-y first time I read it,
but I'm guessing she could have drawn inspiration from many PMs
and combined different elements of them.

Not sure, but I do remember people thinking that the president
mentioned of a distant country (the one the PM apparently didn't
have a high opinion of) was supposed to be a reference to George
       W. Bush.
