Throwing The Sorting?

I definitely think you can throw the sorting, but it isn't as
easy as the other online tests.

You could if you really knew what answers led to what house, and
how/if some questions are weighted differently than others.
Sometimes it's not so clear. You might think that Answer X will
lead you to Ravenclaw but it's really weighted for Slytherin.
EDIT: I'll also add that Becky thought she was "throwing" the
quiz and it put her in Slytherin, which is where you'd expect to
find people who'd try to throw the quiz, no? I answered a few
questions in a Ravenclawish way (i.e. I said I wanted wisdom) or
a Hufflepuff/Gryffindor (i.e. I wanted to be trusted). And yet
I'm a Slytherin.

I don't think it's that easy. I answered truthfully and my
answers all sort of seemed like it would lead me to Hufflepuff
which it didn't. Also, some of the random questions like "Right
or Left?" aren't that easy to predict what house it will give
you.

Did anyone else get the
"A troll is destroying the headmaster's study. He has nearly
perfected the cure for dragon pox. There is also an ancient
book that belonged to Merlin and student records that goes back
1000 years. In what order will you save them?". Something like
that.
Some questions seemed a little obvious. But maybe the quiz
wanted me to think that, lol. I don't know.
There was also a nightmare question. Trapped in a dark room
with a big eye staring at you through a keyhole, falling or
something like that, and your loved ones forgetting who you
are.
I'm still curious about the crossroad question. Beach, forest
and castle. What The Dude wrote was interesting, but I don't
know. The castle and forest looked creepy in my opinion :P

I got the castle/beach/forest question but not the troll
question. I could see it being like, Merlin's book would be
Ravenclaw, the student records would be Slytherin and the dragon
pox cure would be Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. But again, who
knows. I answered a lot of questions in what I took to be a
Ravenclawish way and got Slytherin.
That's why I don't think, unless you know EXACTLY what answers
lead to which houses, you can "throw" the sorting quiz. You
answer honestly and it gives you what it gives you.

Merline was a Slytherin though... so maybe the Merlin answer was
Slytherin based.
I got one about what box I'd open: an ornate jeweled box, one
with the seal of Merlin, or a plain one that said "I only open
to those worthy" -- I chose the last option and am a Gryffindor.
I also got one about which magical creature interested me, I
said ghost.
Did anyone get Stars or Moon?

Ah, but you don't know that Merlin is a Slytherin until after
you're sorted. So with that question, it'd be hard to throw it.
I got the magical creatures question (I think I said vampire?)
and the box (I also picked the plain one).

I got the troll and crossroad question every time.
Gryffindor result: Forest; Merlins book- Dragon pox cure -
Student records
Slytherin result: Beach; Merlins books - Dragon pox cure -
Student records
Ravenclaw result: Castle; Merlins book- Student records - Dragon
pox cure
I find throwing the quiz very easy. Now I just need Hufflepuff.
:P

You know what, if I was really a Slytherin, I would be in
Gryffindor right now, yeah?
Ob-viously, I'm neither sneaky nor cunning enough for
Slytherin. [angry2]
