I've seen it in Boston and NYC

There were slight differences in each. Boston had the knight
from the chess scene in SS and a more elaborate graveyard from
GOF. I saw it in NYC a few weeks ago with Tom and it had a
better lay out and had props from DH like the Lovegoods' wedding
       costumes and the horcruxes.
Tom tried to steal Lucius Malfoy's pimp cane.
It was weird because in Boston the line to shoot a quaffle was
so long we had to skip it and in NYC there was no one shooting
quaffles - is this a Boston vs. NY thing? I don't know.
       We couldn't take pictures.

I saw it in Chicago, we couldn't take pictures either. The
Sorting Hat bit was cute, the little kids got to go up there and
they were like, "Name your favorite House." and miraculously
they were Sorted there. ;) Then this kid was all like, "I don't
have a favorite House." and got sorted into Ravenclaw. :P
I mostly remember how tiny the costumes were, and how detailed
every one was, right down to the shoes. Especially Rita
Skeeter's, since we don't even see her shoes. Pretty Cool.
Also, just all the details in the books, magazines, Quidditch
World Cup programs and the like. I was able to read the front
page of a Daily Prophet. Good stuff.
The Quaffle was a lot heavier than I expected! And Hagrid's
       chair is HUGE! :o
       It was awesome!

We should meet up again, and I'll bring my new pimp cane! I
really enjoyed the exhibition. But seriously, those people need
       to learn how to measure.

My default pic is of me wearing the Sorting Hat in the gift shop
       of the NYC exhibit. ZOMG!!!

So yesterday I went to the exhibit in NY. (It was Sept 1st, so I
just had to go to Hogwarts). And it was freaking awesome.
I know some people who have gone and complained that it isn't
worth the price. But for fans like us, I think it was totally
       worth it.
I would list my favorite parts, but then I would probably list
all of it. Every little thing was so cool down to the tiniest
       detail.
And I personally loved seeing little kids' reactions to
everything. This one little boy (who was very stylish, btw) was
sorted at the beginning and he announced very proudly that he
wanted to be in Slytherin. It was the cutest thing.

Weren't the quaffles heavy? And did you notice the picture of
       Newt Scamander in the beginning?

Yeah! I don't know why but I expected them to be lighter.
But I didn't notice the picture. I actually blew past those
because there was a huge crowd. I figured I'd go back and give
them a look once there was more space, but I got distracted but
all the other awesome things they had. My bad.

I went a few weeks ago with the fan club I am part of. It
really was a cool experience. I didn't use the audio guide. I
couldn't believe how small Hufflepuff's cup was! I honestly
expected it to be like the size of a goblet. Hagrid costume
wasMASSIVE!. I mean I know Hagrid is big and so is Coltraine,
but he must have been wearing a fat suit to fit into that thing!
Seeing Dobby was heartwarming and seeing the actual beds that
the characters are supposed to sleep in were awesome. i
couldn't get over how small Emma and Evanna are, and seeing
Snape's costume was the best part of it

I was also shocked at the prices in the gift shop! The robes
were 80 dollars more than online, and considering they normally
cost $120, that was DAMN EXPENSIVE! The wands were ten dollars
more than online, and they only had a limited selection of
wands. The only things I bought there was a magnet with
Undesirable No.1 on it, and a mug, with an image of the trio on
one side, and Lucius, Bellatrix, and Voldemort on the other both
with underneath reading Harry Potter the exhibition.
