Season 5 Episode 10: Mother's Mercy

Well f'ck. One of favorite episodes of the show for sure.
Top Moments:
1. Arya killing Trant and becoming blind.
2. For the Watch. Damn that was rough. Not even a hint at the
future. The Jon-Sam scene was also nice.
3. Every thing at Winterfell. Stannis going down(but not
out?)like a boss. Sansa being defiant. Theon remembering his
name...So much feels when Sansa and Theon held hands.
4. The Walk. Lena Heady nailed it.
Speculation:
1. Next Season's opening has to be something with Jon right?
Melisandre and Davos are still at The Wall. Wildlings close by.
King Jon Starkaryen get hype?
2. Sansa and Theon survive the fall. Get taken to Stannis,
Brienne and Pod. Stannis sends Sansa and Theon to the wall.
Maybe sends Theon to Iron Islands trying to get help? Also,
LittleFinger might also come to Stannis' aid next season.
3. Myrcella is probably dead. Unless Trystane has antidote on
hand. Don't know how Trystane is going to get out of that
situation. Maybe Bronn brings him back to Dorne?

This is probably the worst episode of the show so far, not just
the season. So much nonsense. Only the Walk of Shame sequence
was good but even there I heard they CGI'd Lena Headey's face
onto body doubles so that's slightly disappointing.

^Could not disagree more. I've had my issues with the season up
to this point, but this episode was really fkn good, definitely
the best E10 of the series.
The Walk of Shame was done pretty much perfectly and if there
was one scene I was hoping they would nail its this one. Lena
Headey deserves all the awards this year for that scene alone.
Theon and Sansa jumping off the walls of Winterfell was kinda
fucking ridiculous though right? Especially happening moments
after seeing Myranda die from a fall seemingly half the drop.
Was very satisfying to see Stannis get absolutely destroyed this
episode after what he did to Shireen.
So Jons definitely going to be resurrected by Melisandre right?

Kit Harrington has confirmed that he won't be back for the next
season but I don't know how credible that is..
I really loved the episode! - Everything were done really great
and I loved every scene except the one with Daenerys and the
Khalasar.. That scene didn't make any sense to me. Don't know if
it's a bigger scene in the books or..

Theres no chance Jon's dead, I'm going to say that Harrington
and the producers are deliberately playing it up to try to keep
the surprise, maybe for GRR Martins sake if he can get the book
out in time (which I'm hopeful for, even though I should know
better).
Dany and the Khalisar is pretty much straight from the books,
although it skipped the part where Drogon comes down to protect
her and kills the leader.

Killing Jon would just be too weird I think..
But what was the point of her running into the Khalasar? At
first I thought the area looked like The Vale and that Drogo had
taken her to Westeros..

Well in the books Meereen is under siege by the armies of Yunkai
and Astapor (?) so I assume since Drogon killed their leader she
will become Khal and get them to help defeat her enemies and
then finally begin her battle march to Westeros.
In the show Im not sure what will happen with it. Lets just hope
she doesnt get raped...

Man, this was definitely the bloodiest episode so far in terms
of how many characters got snuffed in a single episode. Lets
see:
Meryl Trant
Selyse
Myranda
Stannis
Myrcella
Jon Snow
I guess only Dany is left now to defeat the White walkers and
reclaim the Iron throne. I don't know what they will do with
Jon's story-line since Harrington pretty much confirmed he won't
be back next season. Anyways, it's going to be another long wait
of 10 months before we find out.
