Do you have an opinion on it? I haven't listened. I try to wait
to hear the songs for the first time in the theater right after
the film.

I think it's very good, now it just depends on where the movie
ends and how this song feels when it plays immediately
afterwards, but as a separate entity, I think it's good. Better
than "I See Fire" at any rate.

I See Fire is way better than 'The Last Goodbye' in my opinion.
'The Last Goodbye' is an okay song but it's not a song I would
listen to had it not been for the connection with the movie and
I don't think it will be a song that I will continue to listen
to after the movie is out.

I don't think "I See Fire" is a bad song per se, I just don't
think it really fits the end of the second film. It just
completely feels out of place. I wish they'd just played the
final track of the OST ("Beyond the Forest") instead as it's
such an excellent track.
Song of the Lonely Mountain remains my favorite song though.
