I agree with number 10, 7, 4 and 1. These things really
frustrates me and ruin the respective movie but the others I can
accept.

I kind of wanted to stop reading at #9. Peeves is such a
non-issue, honestly...
But I don't really agree with any of those. The prophecy, maybe.
One issue I had in the last few films from an adaptation
standpoint was that I think the connection between Harry and
Voldemort, and especially their wands etc., wasn't entirely
well/clearly laid out. This should have been taken care of in
GOF though, the whole priori incantatem business was randomly
mentioned and then forgotten about (as is the case with many
other things in that film).
I also would have liked to see Dumbledore's back story
(particularly because I much prefer it to Snape's), but Rowling
didn't really do it in an interesting way. It was just one big
info dump, a book within a book. As much as I like the Three
Brothers sequence in DH: 1, I honestly thought the movie stopped
dead at that point. Could they have done the same with
Dumbledore? Have Hermione read something and give us flashbacks?
Na. Maybe just have Hermione read it and not show anything?
Nope. Just include random flashbacks anyway? Then what would the
point of the Pensieve be?
I also wish the epilogue had not been filmed.
Oh and Sirius' mirror should have been explained better.
Barring all of that, and maybe a few minor things here and
there, I thought the last several films were much better than
their book counterparts (even the epilogue actually was somewhat
tolerable).

I agree with all of those except the Peeves and Dobby changes.
And shifting away from the lessons scenes didnt really bother me
too much, though it would have been nice to see one or two more
classroom scenes.

The lack of lessons in the later films is noticeable but its
really only GOF thats the worst offender, and its understandable
that when they were looking at ways to trim the fat these would
be the first to go.
Most of this list is ancient nitpicking that we've all seen
thousands of time, so I can't really judge it anymore. They have
a point with the random exploding bodies in DH2 (ie. Voldemort
and Bellatrix) but for Voldemort at least I thought it just made
it a bit more visually final rather than just having his body
collapse on the ground, though I can see the arguments for that
proving he was just a man etc. as well.

I wouldn't say any of those ruined the movies for me, but they
definitely annoyed me.
They also forgot how they completely butchered Ginny's
character, but I guess thats just not important...sigh.

I'd like to think that if all of the books had been published
before production started on the movies then a lot of these
"mistakes" wouldn't have happened... Some of them are stupid
though Peeves? Dobby? Lessons? How the hell are you going to
make a movie without trimming that out? I think the only one
that truly bothers me is #1 because it changes the meaning of
the story, everything else is either trivial or at the most
confusing to a non-book reader. The HP series, IMO, would work
best as a television show or mini series.

A big budget, 12-13 episode series for each book would be
incredible. It's just hard to think how they could recast
everyone, as the movie got so many of them absolutely perfect
(ie. McGonagall, Hagrid, Lucius, Hermione, Ron, etc.)

I would give my first-born for a HP series by HBO.
