       I hope they cast Val...

       I haven't heard any news about her being cast this season, so I
       assume she won't be in Mance's tent when Jon speaks to him next
       episode, which is disappointing but understandable.
       I hope they bring her in next season though, not just because
       she's supposed to be one of the hottest characters in the
       series, but she's a strong character in her own right and would
       add a bit more flavour to Jon Snow's storyline next year. I
       don't expect them to cast Dalla as well, but her part could
       easily be merged into Val's character anyway. Without Ygritte
       there's no other female representative of the wildlings so I
       think it would be disappointing if they cut her.

       I think in the S4 Finale we will get a glimpse of Val, sort of
       how we saw Jaqen with a bag covering his head, but won't see her
       fully until S5. I am very excited to see Val as I really like
       her in the books as well. I don't think they can really merge
       Val and Dalla considering one is used to tempt Jon into leaving
       the Watch and the other is the wife of Mance.
       They need Val to play at least two important roles on the TV
       show:
       1. A strong, smart, and and well rounded Wildling Woman.
       2. Jon Snow's temptation and love interest.
       If Jon is to end up with any woman in the Books or TV Series it
       most likely will be Val. Some people have even already written
       theories of how they think Jon has already "stolen" Val.
