I can definitely feel Singer's influence just from the two
minutes they showed. Let's hope it's more X2 than Superman
       Returns.

I'm really tired of the extreme focus on Wolverine.. IMO he is
just not an interesting character anymore..

Ah I got chills, I like it a lot. I'm glad they've got Wolverine
to do the time-jumping rather than Kitty (it is Kitty in the
comics right I'm not getting confused?) because film Kitty is
       kind of lame.
I still think Wolverine's an interesting character but he is my
favourite so I might be a little biased.

Wolverine is the focus of the Franchise, he always has and he
always will be. It is just how the movies were spun, it also
doesn't help when he is one of the biggest movie stars in the
       world right now.

Yeah, it was Kitty in the comics. It wouldn't work for this
continuity though, since they're not physically travelling
through time, but having their mind sent back to their younger
self. Kitty would kinda just disappear.

I wasn't expecting to see it with Thor and about came in my
pants when I figured out what it was. The X-Men have always been
my favorite comic book universe and Singer's first two were so
good that I kind of forget what an idiot he was for skipping X3
to make a crap Superman movie no one asked for. I try to pretend
X3 and WO don't really exist. I loved First Class. If it catches
that vibe and the mood of X2 (the best film in the entire
       franchise), I'll be happy.
