       Tonight's episode!

Loved it! Kept me tense the whole way through! I really don't
want Sookie to get back with Bill, though. I like each
character better when they aren't together at this point. But
once again, Fiona Shaw dominates! I felt really bad for Pam
though! She got a few really good lines, but I hated Eric being
so angry at her! I actually did think for a minute Jason might
die...I think it could've been really good to send him out like
that, but alas, it seems he and Jessica are now gonna happen no
matter what. Also, go Sam and Alcide! Loved them tonight! I
have to say that even though I found the episode interesting, I
still find Jesus incredibly dull. Maybe it's the actor, because
I found the plot really interesting even when it was Jesus'
scenes...but, idk...something about him just feels awkward.
Next weeks ep looks like it'll be badass!
Also, I totally knew what would happen at the end. There was no
way she was going to go down that easy. But it was satisfying
       to see Bill shoot her.

Yea this season of True Blood hasn't disappointed. I loved
every second of tonight's episode with the exception of Andy's
plot. Honestly he needs to die off already because I'm sick of
       him.
Question: Will Pam ever be cured?

I hope so since Marnie is dead, the spell should have ended.
Also when Antonia was pulled from her body it seemed all her
       magic reversed itself.

I gotta say, I was on Team Pam when it came to shooting the
bazooka/flamethrower/whatever it was. I do so often get tired of
Sookie turning into Bella Swan. I think Bill and Eric should
both forget her and hook up; did no one else notice that full-on
bromance moment at the end? I don't know if it's the character
or Anna Paquin or what, but she's just annoyed the hell out of
me this season. Bill becomes about five times more attractive as
soon as he gets away from her.
I have no idea what the hell happened with Andy in the woods but
I imagine it'll be important next season, per this series' MO.
And what the hell was the point of Jason's Ghost
Daddy/werepanther thing early this season? It went nowhere and
looks like it'll still be going nowhere.
Although it got much stronger toward the end (mostly thanks to
Fiona Shaw), I won't be sorry to see this season go, to be
honest. It started off too unfocused and too many of its
       sub-plots just didn't go anywhere.
EDIT: What the hell was going on with Debbie? It seemed like
every time I thought she was cheating, it turned out she wasn't,
and vice versa. Like, what was the endgame there?

Hermes, I have to agree that the writing has left much to be
desired this season. They keep introducing random subplots that
go no where (like the panthers). It's funny because during the
episode I kind of zoned out and started wondering why they would
even introduce that whole stupid plot-line earlier in the season
with the ghost lady possessing Lafayette (and that whole other
aspect with the baby). And right after I was thinking it, Marnie
came back. So I guess they do some planning, but not much.
However, I thought this episode was tops. I really enjoyed it,
didn't get bored, and liked what happened (for the most part).
I also don't care much for Andy and his story line, but even at
the time, I could tell they were setting something up for next
       season.
And it really bothers me how Eric and Bill were willing to
sacrifice themselves for Sookie. I get that she's "special" and
has fairy blood and whatever, but give me a freaking break.
Honestly, whenever any story introduces a sort of Helen of Troy
female character that men blindly fall in love with for no good
reason, I can't help but roll my eyes. It's the same shit with
Twilight and the same shit with Effy on Skins. The only time I
ever enjoyed it was in There's Something about Mary. Pam was the
only one thinking clearly in that scene.
Anyway, back to TB: At the beginning of this season, when they
mentioned it was October, I KNEW the season finale was going to
be on Halloween. And from the previews, it looks freaking
       awesome.
So far, I think this has been the best season since the first.

I agree with pretty much all of this. Especially eye-rolling at
Bill and Eric trying to see who can out-suicide the other. Come
the hell on. As if Sookie's the only one either of them has a
damn obligation to; Jessica is still a freakiing child,
       practically.
