Jenna-Louise Coleman is a consummate shape-shifter, which
is just as well because the 26-year-old actress is required to
play at least three different characters in Doctor Who: a
Victorian nanny, the junior entertainment manager of the
starship Alaska, marooned on the Dalek Asylum, and a
21st-century London girl. All have different names, different
accents and exist in different quantum realities.
Is this a spoiler at this point? I feel like the Christmas
special alluded to it. Anyway, I'm curious what direction they
take with quantum realities... because I think Oswin could fit
into a repeating universe scheme aka multiple realities, but
that would mean the TARDIS is jumping all across space time. Or
she could exist in multiple dimensions, alternate timeline kind
of thing where she's existing at different points in different
dimensions. I prefer the repeating universe scheme in which
she'd be simultaneously occurring across Space-Time because
linearly space time has to repeat eventually, at points we can't
say but maybe a time-lord can?
