New Book Covers for 15th anniversary of Sorcerer's Stone

I am not a person that is good with change so I am not a fan of
the new book covers. They're OK, but I love the Mary GrandPre
       ones, they're classics.

I think I read the new ones are only for soft cover.
I don't mind when special editions have new covers because
sometimes they're interesting. Its something new a different.
This one is very vibrant but really nothing spectacular. But
nothing beats the originals. They're classic in my eyes and
nothing will ever be as good. I remember the way I used to
scrutinize them before each book came out. And then again right
after. I had a relationship with each cover as much as the books
themselves so they mean a lot to me (and to all of us I'd
       imagine).
Anyway, I'll probably buy the the one for PoA when it comes out.
I'd like to have different versions of my favorite...

Yes, I'd do the same thing. I'd take the jacket off and spread
it out so I could see it in full and try to guess the plot that
way. I mistakenly took Hermione as Ginny on the POA cover. The
one I had the hardest time deciphering was the GOF cover because
there was SO MUCH going on, but it made me so excited to read
       it.

Yea the GoF cover I was like, "Who are these people?!" And I
remember at the time being sort of disappointed with DH
(although I liked the orange color).

Are they only doing that for the US version or will the UK
edition get one as well? I think I like the new cover better
than your old one, but I'd probably feel differently if I'd
       grown up with them.
This is the cover I grew up with

These are the covers I grew up with. I think they are some of
the nicest ones made so far.

I like this one a lot. Yeah, I like the original covers, but I
don't feel any fierce loyalty towards them, especially the early
ones. If I had a job, I'd buy the new covers.

You can call me biased or w/e but I think the American covers
are the best. I enjoy the French covers as well. I like how
simple the French covers are. They're very different from the
       others.

My favorite cover of any version is the Swedish cover for
Deathly Hallows. It looks very anime-inspired to me.

I've always purchased the Adult paperback editions of the novel,
because I find them cool and the regular ones seem a bit too
       'fairytale' like.
