       Snape never punished Harry for using Sectumsempra?

       I only just realised this, did he really never follow Harry up
       on almost killing Malfoy? Seems like a bit of a plot-hole in the
       movie.
       Not a big issue I guess, but still.

       Because Snape knew Harry used Sectumsempra. If Snape told the
       entire staff, they would begin an investigation on Harry on how
       he learned that spell and eventually he would fess up about the
       book. The professors would be able from there to reveal Snape.
       So I'm pretty sure it worked too in the movie where Snape and
       Harry shared that unspoken mutual agreement with each other.
