Looks like Lincoln is getting lot of love. Though I'm a bit sad
the Hobbit didn't get anything.

Jesus Christ The Globes like to throw the most random shit in
there.
But yeah the Oscar's Best Picture race has officially become
Zero Dark Thirty vs Lincoln.

^Yup. And now it looks like Argo is pretty safe nomination-wise
if you ask me.

I haven't seen either but I'm rooting for Lincoln!

I liked Lincoln well enough but I'm still pulling for Argo
(especially Affleck for director) and Zero Dark Thirty, which I
haven't even seen yet. And I'm rooting for Phoenix over
Day-Lewis.
Lincoln hasn't aged well with me; the more I think about it the
more I think it's getting undue attention. It's perfectly
serviceable but that's it. Tommy Lee Jones deserves the
attention, but Sally Field?

In addition to Argo, I'm really glad Django Unchained is getting
love. I wasn't sure if it would, for some reason.
And I'm really looking forward to seeing Zero Dark Thirty.
But don't get me started on the TV nominations. I realize the
Globes TV nominations are usually a joke, but this year is just
plain whack.
At least the hosts will be awesome.

God it looks so good.
I actually just finished "No Easy Day," that focused more on the
actual SEAL operation, and the writer talked about the female
CIA analyst who spent like five years of her life on the hunt,
was the one more or less mostly responsible for putting together
the intel and said, "Yes, he's there." Soon as she came into the
picture, I'm like, "Oh that has to be the Zero Dark Thirty
lady." The person in "No Easy Day" was damn riveting, and that
was just as a background character.

WTF Downton Abbey gets nominated over Mad Men and Game of
Thrones who both get zero recognition!? Well at least the board
watch will be fun if we do it again, and Amy Poehler and Tina
Fey are awesome.

I'm even more astounded that Newsroom got nominated over Mad Men
and Game of Thrones. Let alone Downton. And don't even get me
started on the comedy category.
