Almost three hours...for 100 pages of a book. There's about four
plot points here, so it looks like we've got a serious case of
Kong here. Bilbo probably won't leave the Shire until about 70
minutes in. :-\

I haven't read The Hobbit so I don't really know anything about
the storyline but I wouldn't judge the movie just yet. Wait
untill you've seen it to make up your mind.

I'm very curious as to how these films will turn out. I'm trying
to not judge the decision to turn them into three films until
I've seen at least the first one.
