A Song of Ice and Fire, or A Song of Fire and Ice?

I can't explain why but I just think A Song of Fire and Ice
sounds better, particularly when I say it out loud.

Fire and Ice does sound better rhythmically, and for the longest
time that's what its name really was. Although Ice and Fire is
       growing on me ...

I think GRRM chose that order because it was out of the
ordinary. We say fire before ice because of the famous Robert
Frost poem and just how it rolls of the tongue. (It's like
saying, "Ashley and Mary-Kate." Just feels off.)

There could be a significant reason why it is Ice and Fire...

Is it because the White Walkers (Ice) will be coming first and
then Dany will come and fuck shit up with her dragons (Fire)?
I have read the part of A Clash of Kings when it actually
mentions the Song of Ice and Fire to Danaerys, but I'm not sure
       how significant that is.

I'm not entirely positive, but I'm sure there is some
       significance with the title.

[/quote]That's what I assumed. And it makes sense.
