I saw that this morning. The title is awful, so I hope it's just
a rumor. IGN also claims that Khan is the villain, but I don't
believe that, either.

The title is OK. What matters is whether the content of the film
will justify that title by taking Star Trek into darkness (which
is where ST was always at its best) or will it just turn into,
ironically, blockbuster fluff like the 2009 film.

I hope they prove me wrong of course, and even if they use Khan,
they end up making a really good movie. Given JJ Abrams' track
record though, I don't expect much other than lens flares every
3 seconds.

Chris Pine has said the movie is darker, but not quite Batman
dark.

While the title isn't really that great, I hope the film is as
good as the 2009 one, if not better. Since it's JJ Abrams, I'm
not too concerned because he will deliver. Also, I read
somewhere that Benedict Cumberbatch will be portraying Khan.

Why is it that everytime there is a sequel they say it is
darker? Is that mean it is going to be better?
The title sucks. They should just call it Star Trek II: Not to
be confused with The Wrath of Kahn.
