       Finished SS!(Spoilers)

       Just finished Sorcerer's Stone today.
My question is do you think Dumbledore was watching Harry the
entire time he went through the trapdoor? Dumbledore pretty much
returned his cloak so that Harry could do it, so do you think
Dumbledore was watching and if it got out of control would have
       stepped in to stop it?

Wasn't he gone to the ministry? I mean, I know that he knew
Harry would go down there, but he got the fake call from the
ministry and just made it back in time to pull Quirrell off of
Harry, so I doubt he was watching him

I don't think you need a spoiler tag for this lol.
He was halfway to London when he turned back (presumably on a
Thestral). I think Dumbledore expected that Harry might try and
go through the trap door but perhaps didn't realize that he'd be
met by Quirrell, and that's why he turned back.

I don't know. Dumbledore would be acting very carelessly if he
left Hogwarts. He also is pretty successful at predicting
outcomes. Obviously he wasn't standing next to Harry, but could
he have still been in Hogwarts waiting? I just can't see him
leaving the school when he knew the potential danger.

Isn't it pretty careless that he let three eleven year olds go
through an elaborate obstacle course that could have killed
       them?
Lets say that he does know that Quirrel is after the stone,
there's absolutely no way he could have predicted that he was
Voldemort's servant. He may have thought that Quirrel wanted the
       Stone for it's financial possibilities.

Idk I just feel Dumbledore always knew more than he let on.

       [spoiler]
No way. I don't think Dumbledore was there the whole time. Yes
he always knew what was going on and was probably keeping an eye
on Harry because he's HARRY POTTER, but I don't think he had an
inkling the trio would go through the trap door. And definitely
not on that night. If he didn't think Harry was ready for the
truth at the end of the book, I'm pretty sure he didn't think he
could handle the third floor corridor.
