Do you think Ludo Bagman should have appeared again in the later
books?

I feel he was one of those entertaining minor characters. It
would have been interesting to have him again with his Death
Eater connections.

I haven't read GOF in a while but I don't remember him having
any Death Eater connections - just gambling problems.

If I remember correctly, he had been prosecuted as stated in the
Pensieve hearing scene. He had unknowingly passed some very
important intel about the Ministry to a Death Eater (Dolohov or
Rookwood).

I can barely remember this, but I think I remember that scene
where he was on trial was brushed off as just him being an idiot
and he said some stupid things which made him a suspect or
something. Oh yeah he said something to one of those guys you
mentioned not knowing they were Death Eaters.
But I agree he could have been mentioned a few more times or
played a bit more of a role, but really I don't know what
purpose he could have had. Wasn't he mentioned to have left the
country to escape the goblins and that's the last we hear of
him?
He was one of my favourite side characters in GOF though, I wish
he had made it into the movie, even in the form of a glorified
cameo.
