Would anyone be interested in doing a series reread?

I'm going to do it anyway but it might be fun to do like as a
board thing. I haven't reread cover to cover since pre DHII.
I'll get half way into one and then put it down and I feel like
I've put enough time between DHII and now to get back into it.

I'd be interested! I was just telling a friend a few days ago
that I hadn't read/watched anything HP related in probably 6mo
and that just felt weird to me. I don't have a ton of free time
on my hands, since a certain 3-week-old-who-must-not-be-named is
sort of a meanie, but I could do it. ;)

Same with me (the not watching/reading HP part, not the infant
part lol).
I figured if people want to do it, it can be really informal,
even like a month per book (or longer for the later ones).
People can just jump in whenever and post on that book's board.

I could be down. I can't remember if I've ever even done an
entire series reread. I've obviously reread the books, but not
all in order...

I'm on a bit of a historical fiction kick right now, so I
probably won't reread, but I'd be happy to join in on the book
discussions.

Sounds like fun, I'm currently immersed in a reread of the
ASOIAF series (Game of Thrones) so I probably won't join in the
reread, but it'll be fun to discuss them with you guys anyway.

So why don't we just do one per month. That should fit
everyone's schedule. No chapter dates, just the first of the
month finish the book, keep the discussion going as you read or
w/e you want. we can say August 1st start date, finish SS/PS by
September 1st. I can make an open thread about it or we can just
post in that books thread.

I'm interested too! A month might give me time to gather all my
books up too. They're curretly spread all over the state of
California. But if not, I'll just join in whenever I happen to
have the right book. And I think we should just post in the
existing book threads. That way those will be active again and
not have their last post be over a year ago.
