Batman Begins still has my favorite ending in the trilogy.

That Joker card is pure genius.

I love Batman Begins. I am actually one of the few who prefer it
over The Dark Knight. I am a sucker for anything with the League
of Shadows. As of now my favorite ending is The Dark Knight
Rises, mostly because I love how everything came full circle and
that Bruce got his happy ending. Also, it definitely helps that
the restaurant that Alfred is sitting at in Florence is one that
I walked by everyday last semester.

Yeah it's very cool but TDK has the best ending not only in the
trilogy but in any comicbook movie in general. Gordon's speech
was awesome and also the montage of all the major characters.
And I still get goosebumps at the last line.
"He's not a hero. He's the silent guardian, the watchful
       protector. The dark knight."

I agree that Batman Begins had a great ending, but I prefer The
Dark Knight Rises ending, although the foreshadowing was really
obvious when Alfred first told his story about his fantasy of
seeing Bruce, or maybe I just watch too many movies.
I kind of expected Nolan to replicate that stupid Inception
"twist" ending and make it more ambiguous as to whether Alfred
was just fantasizing again at the end, but I'm glad it's pretty
       much confirmed to actually happen.
People hate me for saying this but I find The Dark Knight Rises
meh overall and I honestly cant even remember the ending, I just
know I didn't find anything that special about it.

It's saddening how many people actually do think that TDKR has
       an "Inception" ending.

Do they really? Do they ignore the 3-4 key scenes beforehand
that clearly explain that he wasn't in the explosion?

Yep. They all point to the shot of Batman supposedly in The Bat
with 5 seconds left on the clock.
