       I'm rewatching from 2005 - now, and in series 1 and 2 I keep
       noticing extras and minor characters called Sally.
       I mean obviously I notice it more because it's my name, but
       still there's been at least 4 Sallys so far in just two series,
       so I reckon it must be a little nod to someone who works on the
       show or their family/friends.

       Haha yeah I mean Sally Sparrow's the obvious one, and the first
       one I noticed, but on re-watching there's several extras a
       series who are called Sally, and not many repeats with other
       names  :-\ I think it must be an in-joke
