There was a Star Wars round at the quiz night I go to

And we got 8/10.
One of them we missed I still think was a kind of a bogus
question. It was "Which character gets excited anytime food or
eating is mentioned?" We really had no idea, so we thought Jar
Jar was a reasonable guess, and it was Chewbacca. But there was
really only one time that happened and the way they phrased it
made it sound like this happened a lot. And you can't tell
Chewbacca's excited from his angry anyway... I don't know, I
just thought it was a weird question.
Anyway, we were already in the lead before this round, which was
the last one, so we were pretty stoked.

That's definitely a bullshit question. I would have thought Jar
Jar too.

Right? We were a little pissed off. The other one we missed was
more understandable, even though it wasn't exactly about Star
Wars. It was "What did George Lucas never learn to do as a child
and still doesn't know how to do? We were deciding between
riding a bike and swimming, and just happened to pick the wrong
one. We didn't guess something reasonable and then be completely
surprised by the answer, like with the other one. And btw,
George Lucas doesn't know how to swim.

When does Chewie get really excited to eat? I'd have said Jar
Jar as well. Didn't he try to eat a fish/frog thing in Mos
Eisley?

It's definitely Jar-Jar.
I can't remember one time where Chewie got excited when food was
around, actually I don't remember any scenes of the main
characters eating any food anywhere in the original trilogy lol
I honestly don't know how someone doesn't know how to swim as an
adult, regardless of not learning as a child. Is it so hard to
move your arms and legs in a logical manner to stay afloat? I
just think it would come naturally in a life and death situation
where you were required to stay afloat and you were never taught
to swim, or am I missing something?

Um, I can't swim either.... It's not as easy as just moving your
arms and legs around. Some people just can't let themselves
float, if that makes any sense.

Explain quiz night, I've never really heard of or been to one.

@Winter - Yeah, I figured it must be harder than just moving
your arms and legs. It's really strange to think about not being
able to swim. I think it's one of those things where if you know
how to do it, you can't imagine not knowing how to do it. Sort
of like someone saying they don't know how to walk, but you've
been walking so long it doesn't occur to you that it's a learnt
skill and someone can't do it, you know? (Obviously swimming is
a lot more difficult and unnatural as walking but that's the
closest example I could think of)
So I'm not saying anyone's stupid for not being able to swim,
not at all, it's just one of those things I can't get my head
around not knowing.
