It says "box set" so I'd assume it'll be a three volume
encyclopedia. I don't think it'd be more stories, unless the
encyclopedia itself contains short stories.
Either way, I'm excited.

Nope. Sorry guys, this is misleading. I'm on my phone or I'd
post links.
The box set is going to be Quidditch Through the Ages, Magical
(or Fantastic?) Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the Tales of
Beedle the Bard.
And I just read that Jo updated her site saying that she's
enjoyed releasing info on Pottermore, but has no plans to
publish an encyclopedia anytime soon.
WTF, Jo.
PLEASE correct me if wrong because this is disappointing. I've
been looking forward to this for years.
EDIT: okay, I might be wrong about what the 3 books are. But
they are NOT the encyclopedia :/ MuggleNet confirms this.

What a misleading article! Whoever wrote it should be ashamed.
A box set of those is just a ploy for more money. Ugh, way to
disappoint millions of people reuters.
WAIT WHAT? Didn't she say, for certain, she had begun work on an
encyclopedia. I thought that was released a few months ago?
WTF.

I saw this but I don't believe anything until I hear it come
from her, you know? She has the book coming out in September and
is working on Pottermore. I dont see her throwing other
commitments on top of that, regardless of what she's "currently
working on."

I really hope we get the encyclopedia eventually. I would be
pissed if she decided to release her additional information via
Pottermore. I want it in a nice hard bound book.

Yeah that article needs sirius editing.
I'm sure the encyclopedia will happen soon enough. It has to
happen. Maybe she will focus on it after The Casual Vacancy is
released.
