I never used to cry while watching these movies

I guess because I was a kid and the emotional stuff just didn't
get to me, I just thought it was awesome
But these most recent times I've watched them I teared up so
many times! I watched them when I was sick a while ago and I
bawled like a baby. When I don't feel good pretty much anything
makes me cry, I hate it

Yeah, it's weird isn't it.
I didn't cry the last time I watched them, but I felt really
emotional at scenes that had zero effect on me before, I blame
the amazing music.

I know it's definitely the music that puts me over the edge
(curse you, Howard Shore!). It's so beautiful and it just swells
in volume at all the right times, for example. "Into the West"
for when Sam picks Frodo up :'(
I don't cry at the Charge of the Rohirrim, but I get
ridiculously emotional starting with the horn sounding.
Theoden's speech and them all screaming "death" are just so
gut-wrenchingly awesome!
"Ride now, ride to ruin, and the world's ending! DEATH!"
Ooh, goosebumps

I swear those battle sequences get more epic and emotional each
time I re watch the movies, it's crazy. I'm really looking
forward to getting into them again around the time The Hobbit
comes out.

I cry so many times while watching Return of the King... It's
kind of ridiculous. When my sister-in-law turned 13 last year,
she wanted to watch all of them with us for the first time and
we were all getting teary. Then during Theoden death my
mother-in-law came in - she had never seen the movies before and
had no idea what was going on - and she started crying.
Powerfull stuff, man.

ROTK was the first time I ever cried during a film. It was when
Gandalf and Pippin were talking about death. I fucking lost it.
