I've been thinking of writing a short story about hermiones pare

Ive never written or even really read any fanfiction, but
thought it would be fun to write about Hermiones parents. I
thought itd be cool to write about them in Australia, from Mr
Grangers perspective and it could sort of mimic the feel of the
very first chapter with Mr Dursley.
It'd work so well because the first chapter had wizards
celebrating Voldemorts first "death" and this could follow Mr
Granger on the day of his final defeat.
He would notice this "strange curly haired girl" following him
around and it could end with her revealing herself as his
daughter.
Has this been done already? What do you think of it?

I'm pretty sure everything has been done already in terms of HP
fanfiction but why not go for it anyway? Sounds like an
interesting story to me since it's from her Dad's POV.
