Which time period of the Harry Potter universe would you choose
to live in?

I was thinking about this earlier today and was thinking about
it for longer and in more depth than I probably needed to haha,
So I've come up with a few rough possibilities of time-frames
(I'm thinking in each one you'd be an 11 year old starting
Hogwarts, so just think of it like that):
1. The time frame of the books - You'd be in the same year as
Harry and everyone else and you'd experience everything from the
books. The downside to this time period of course is that there
is a high probability of you being killed in your seventh year,
although your freakish knowledge of the exact details of how the
battle will play out will probably keep you safe.
2. The Marauders era/the First Wizarding War - you'd be with
James, Sirius, Remus and Wormtail, Lilly, Severus etc. and you
would be able to see how the first war played out. I think this
would be a much more dangerous time period to live in, as the
first war had many more casualties overall (I think).
3. 50 or so years before the books, maybe when Tom Riddle and
Hagrid are in school. There are enough familiar faces in this
time frame to still be interesting (Dumbledore for one).
4. 10-20 years after the books - you'd be in the new world after
the defeat of Voldemort and you'd be able to see how Harry, Ron
and Hermione and everyone else rebuild the society and make
changes for the better.
5. At least a hundred years before or after the time frame of
the books - No familiar characters (Dumbledore and Bathilda
maybe) from the books would be around, except for their
relatives I guess. It would be interesting to see how the world
would be in these two extremes e.g. The Founders era.
I think I'd choose the Marauders era, just because it would be
more exciting to live through not knowing everything that's
going to happen.
Although if I really think about it, it would be so weird and
crazy to actually live through the book timeline. Just being
able to know exactly what was going to happen and then see it
all in reality, the creatures wouldn't be CGI they'd be real it
would be amazing haha.

Hmmmm... probably waaaay before. Maybe even during the founders
days. That would be interesting.

After Voldemort was destroyed, obviously. Then you can sit back
enjoying the awesomeness of the WW without the threat of war or
torture. I'd choose to be born around the time of book 7. That
way, the clean up is left to the generation before and you can
just sit back and enjoy their hard work.

I love it. It's such a lazy answer... "ummm let those people
