Dan & Rupert not friends?

Has anyone read this article besides David and I? What are your
thoughts?

People on tumblr keep bugging out about this. And I think it's
so stupid.
Like. I don't think he's saying they're not friends. They just
don't talk everyday. Which happens in real life. I have friends
in my life that I consider very good friends of mine and we
don't talk everyday. When we were all in school we'd go for
months without talking. Most people have those relationships.
I'm sure Rupert and Dan are very close. They have an intense
history and shared experiences that no one else can understand.
Them not talking everyday doesn't diminish any of that.

I'm pretty indifferent.
I kinda figure it's their thing. As long as they're both happy,
then that's great.
Plus, it's not exactly shocking. People said a year ago,
finishing HP was sort of like all of them finally graduating
high school and going away to college. Well, this is what
frequently happens when people graduate high school and go away
to college. Life happens and you get wrapped up in what you're
doing and it's challenging to maintain relationships with old
friends who have their own lives doing something else somewhere
else.
Plus, who knows how much they actually had in common outside of
HP. They were sort of forced together by circumstance (sort of
like in high school). That doesn't mean they would have been
best friends had they just met each other at school or at a
party or something.

It doesn't bother me any. Truthfully, they seem like polar
opposites in a lot of ways so I think it's normal that they kind
of drifted apart. Not that they're not friends, though. I know a
ton of people that I consider my friends, yet we never text or
hang out. Plus, it's not like they just went their separate ways
from all of the HP cast. Dan has said many times that him and
and Emma are still close, and based on pics from Tumblr, Rupert
seems to hang with Tom and the Phelps Twins fairly regularly.

Yeah, it's not a bad thing. They never seemed as close as Emma
and Dan. The important thing is that they get along.
