Yeah how many times did you try to solve it when you were a kid
only to discover that you didn't know which were big and which
were small!! Haha.
Actually, the last time I read it was, with great difficulty, in
French when I was studying it. It just wasn't the same.

Oh, it was so frustrating! I'd go back every few years and try
it again as if anything would have changed. ::)
I tried reading PS in French a couple of times but always
abandoned it after a few chapters. You're right, it wasn't the
same. I should give it another try someday, though.

Wow. It's obviously been way too long since I last read the
books (At least 3 years) since I have no idea what you guys are
talking about. The sad thing is I used to re-read them all once
a year, which by my count means I've read PS/SS about 9 times.
After this semester I should definitely try and make an effort
to read them all again(except HBP of course...life is just too
short).

Remember all the different challenges the trio had to solve to
get to the Philosopher's Stone? :) Snape's was to line up seven
potions, some of which were poison, some were wine, one let you
move forward and one let you move back. Hermione read out the
riddle and deduced which flask was which, but sadly no amount of
logic could help the reader do the same because one of the clues
depended on knowing the relative sizes of the bottles.
