I didn't think it was that bad but I do feel like they wasted a
couple of episodes with "The God Complex" last week and "Closing
Time" this week.
I'm excited for the season fanale and those are usually good.

Its pretty standard for a season of doctor who to have a bunch
of filler episodes towards the end. I thought for a standalone
episode it worked really well
Plus: Stormageddon.

This. Although it didn't really have much to do with the main
plot progression, it worked well as a standalone episode and had
some great moments. Particularly Stormageddon.
