Mannix looked at this new man and tried to place him.
"I will remember that. That was the person known as Cassius. He
was about to leave the city and was telling me about how
successful he had been, partially due to using me.. somehow. And
then suddenly this.."
He held up the arrow.
"Cut off his head and lodged in my sternum. I tried to get a
view of who or what did this but was unable. I dived to avoid
further arrows till the danger seemed to have passed. I need to
find where Cassius was keeping his things to take out of the
gate tonight, because I am fairly sure it is filled with goods
stolen from those in the highest positions in this city."

Mannix raised an eyebrow an then nodded.
"I am of the Toreador. Though I think you will find I am known
by many. I will follow of course. I would suggest you tell
someone in a high position about Cassius, before his people
leave, now that he is dead."

Mannix waited till the man left and then smiled. He handed over
the arrow happily.
"I am fine thank you. I am just glad to see you are alright. You
were quite brave in the Hagia."
He frowned then, getting serious.
"The archer was busy. I am guessing I wasn't intended to die as
it was barely powerful enough to nick the bone. Besides the
archer though, I believe you have another problem. The archer
killed Cassius and just before it did, Cassius revealed he was
leaving this night having fulfilled his endeavors. He was way
too happy and even said though I did nothing, I aided him
greatly. I don't know what he has done but it was not good, I am
sure. We need to find his people before they leave the city.
Does anyone know where he based himself? I was hoping.. maybe
thomas could use a small bit of him to track his scent."

He was alone and used people as he saw fit then discarded them.
. as for were he lived it was and is still unknown. I am telling
you this cause of who your Sire is but i do suggest in the
future do not assume that every person in this city knows of all
our existences. . . do you understand? besides the arrow was
there anything else of note?

He nodded as she spoke. Then he brought out the book.
"He gave me this, as a token of his appreciation. I am fairly
sure it belongs to Gesu. I was going to take it to his library
next, to give it back if it had been stolen."

if it was stolen do you think it a wise course of action to take
it yourself? but yuo are more than welcome to. Just be cautious
about it
