A lyre to make a bird sing ..(Great Bazaar)

Cyra had checked on Sarah after the shift ended and before
making her way to the Bazaar to search for inspiration. If she
could find something to coax the girl into singing perhaps her
dream could lead her in a different direction than her mother
while still making people happy.
She had never been to something like this. The size, the amount
of shops and shoppers, the variety of goods for sale, even the
way the whole thing was covered was amazing to her. She wandered
about trying to remember where she could buy herbs and supplies
and anything else that caught her fancy. She chatted with
shopkeepers and customers alike slowly wending her way through
the bazaar inquiring about musical instruments. She would
eventually make her way to a shop selling a variety of musical
instruments, both new and used. She searched through the lyres
for something simple, not plain, but not too fancy, one that you
could see was well loved and often used. These were the ones who
held magic...these were the ones that knew how to play from and
to the soul.
She found it tucked behind a grandly carved and polished lyre
fit for a court musician. Gently extracting it from it's
position she carried it to the keeper, "Would this be a good one
to start with? It is pretty enough, but no so much that someone
would covet it enough to steal, and it looks like it could use
someone to love it once again."

instrument of her choice . He nodded*
Would make an excellent piece to work with sturdy yet delicate
looking, strings are still in good condition and can be easily
changed with out special care. Are you learning or coming back
to it after being away?
*he was smitten by her words her beauty just everything as if a
Goddess herself had walked in*

That was always a question of interest for her. Did she know
this instrument? Is that why she was drawn to it? She found
being honest was best. She smiled at the shopkeeper, "Honestly,
I do not know. I lost my memories after an accident. I only have
the few years since that time. Perhaps I have played before...
perhaps not, but we are always learning where art in involved."
She touched the lyre lovingly, "I only knew that I wanted a lyre
to accompany a friend who wishes to sing. No other instrument
came to mind."

She smiled brighter, " I cannot promise she will sing, she is
young and perhaps will be too afraid. I will gladly come back
and play, and maybe sing as well. But you must give us, or me, a
few weeks to learn some songs. Is this acceptable?"

"I do as well," she bowed, "I am Cyra, by the way. You can find
me at the House of Stars. With your gift I hope to make my young
friend very happy. Thank you." She gathered up the lyre and
tucked it into her bag. "Thank you again, I look forward to
seeing you soon." She made her way back out into the bazaar to
find her way back to the House for the evening.

* the house was like normal very busy as girls moved
effortlessly around each other and patrons. She got up stairs to
see her friend sitting at a table with an older woman who looked
like she was teaching her*

She made her way through the house like she normally did,
smiling and slightly flirty with customer and girls alike as she
was finally able to head up to her room. Finding Sarah upstairs
she smiled brighter. "Sarah, just the girl I was hoping to
find!...I am fine." She looked at the woman then back to the
girl, "Am I interrupting your studies?"

She is done for today just rememebr to practise what i taught
you
*She began to pick up the items as Sarah looked back to the
woman*
