2 weeks later, Jason sends a message to the monastery for Amaris
that her commission is ready to be picked up.

Amaris awoke to find the monks message waiting for her. She
wandered the house until finding Andrea and showed her the
message.
"You said you wanted to be the one to go, he says they are
ready. It was your creation so I trust your judgement on the
finished product"

She was confused

was too dangerous for me. That I would never stand a chance
should a fight come about. Now you believe I will be fine? I am
not sure what to think, but if you think I can go alone , I
will. There is no need to pull you away from what you are
doing...after all, I am not afraid of him. He's given me no
reason to be."

Have watched his place over the past couple weeks here and there
he seems to be a lone wolf at the moment and a single one is
easier to handle than a pack and i know you can handle a single
one

She nodded
"If you say so I will accept it. I will send a messenger to let
them know I will arrive near Compline tomorrow night. "
The next night she dressed and had Gavriel escort her to Jason's
house. It was an awkward walk, as everything had become awkward
between them. SHe ordered him to remain outside to guard the
door while she conducted her business. She knocked at the door
and smiled nervously at Gavriel as she waited for Jason to
answer.

Jason heard the knock and hurried across the workshop to open
the door.
"Lady Amaris," He said with a warm smile. "Please come in, I
have your commission ready for your inspection." He guides her
into the kitchen and sets out a pair of small wooden boxes lined
in velvet(nothing fancy, but well made) and opens them to reveal
the pendant and cloak broach.
"Do these meet your approval, Lady Amaris?"

She smiles as he opens the door and follow him inside, waiting
as he brought the boxes to the table. She was still smiling as
he opened them but upon seeing the work her eyes widen and a
look of shock settles on her face. She looks from them to Jason
and back again before speaking
'Oh!... Oh my....they are ... exquisite."
She looked back to Jason, a look of intense joy on her face, as
if she were about to cry. She lifted and examined each one in
turn, before speaking again
"I never knew that garnet could be so beautifully crafted ... I
am...at a loss of words to describe my feelings...my gratitude."
She rounded the table and hugged him
"Thank you, they are truly extraordinary. Our city is blessed to
have a master craftsman as talented as you within it's walls."
Stepping back she untied the purse from her belt and held it out
to him, when he took it he would know that it weighed more than
the promised 100 silver. She smiled up at him as she gathered
the two boxes.
"My man has paid your Patron earlier this evening, however, I
will be letting him know, personally, how pleased I am with your
work. Again, you have provided me with a most exquisite gift,
Thank you, Jason ....? "
She paused because she realized she never knew his name except
for his wife speaking it at their first meeting. It was a name
she would want to know...a name to give to those who would see
his work and would want to know who created something of such
beauty.

"Ah, If you're wondering about our surname, it's Maiastos" Jason
answered with a big grin. "I'm glad you're so happy with the
work on the jewelry and I would be happy to undertake
commissions in the future."

"Well, Jason Maiastos, I will be certain to repeat your name to
any who inquire where I obtained such works of art. I am beyond
happy, and I am sure to find something else to engage your
services again. ... But for now I should let you get back to
your lovely wife and relaxing after a days work. Thank you
again, Master Maiastos."
She bowed to him, and turned to make her way out, leaving him to
spend the evening remaining with his family.
