Thank you was a Gift from Amaris for me. . . it is my second
most cherished item in the world after Aliyn. May i ask how you
came across your Precocious child actuallly Both?

Mannix blinked and then looked at his daughters with much love
in his eyes.
"Quite by accident. Petra stole my coin purse. I followed her
watched her, realizing she wasn't greedy just starving. So I
offered a home, care, and myself as a father. As for Alice, she
was ready to die, had given up on life. She felt something from
me, my connection to Petra an I asked her to come to stay a
night or two. Petra healed her heart and now she is my other
daughter, though truly I think she distrusts me still, and stays
only because of Petra."
There was a little sadness there but acceptance.

"It looks like I am not the only one. I am guessing everyone one
of those kids have had many problems in their lives. And you
folks giver them a home, a family and hope. Like you said, there
are worse things to be. Though I need to find someone to help
me. Two young girls in a house of men isn't the best thing. I
don't want them scarred for life or for them to get a
reputation."

Amaris had watched the exchange silently. Smiling at Mannix now,
she echoed Andrea
"...can't be done behind a book or in a crypt....this is what I
deal with every night. There are huge benefits of having a ghoul
like Andrea, and she is one of the kindest hearts I know, but
she has that wisdom about her that often makes me wish I were
the ghoul again."
She grinned,
"I think you should find a grandmotherly woman. Someone who will
be good with the girls but will take no flack from the boys in
the house either. I imagine they are quite
...freespirited...while you sleep. A Nana to keep them in line
would be good for everyone."

"My boys are two monks who are loyal to me and not young.. wel
not for people. The girls, they sleep during the day and stay
awake at night. Petra insists on it. But you are probably right.
I guess I just need to find someone of the grandmotherly sort I
can trust."

this evening, Especially her favorite boy. They all took turns
holding the kits talking laughing and being Kids*

Amaris watched them quietly. especially Staphanos. She looked at
the others and excused herself for a moment. SHe made her way
nearer the children and called him over.
"Stephanos, could I talk with you a minute?"
She waited to see his reaction to being interrupted by her.
