Mannix smiled as he continued to move with them.
"Quite right. Evening. And yes they will be going to bed soon."
They continued, always being hurried by Petra. They stopped and
Mannix picked out a collection of fruits that looked sweet and
tasty and paid for them, letting the girls give approval and
then continuing on. It really idn't take long for them to arriv
at the house, where Mannixed knocked, hoping Petra could avoid
running in before someone answered.

Amaris answered the door smiling. Ignoring Mannix for the moment
she bowed to the small girl,
"Lady Petra, welcome to my home. Please come in and introduce
your friend!"
She stepped back from the door and winked at Mannix. Once the
girls were in- followed by Mannix - she kissed his cheek.
"How are you tonight Mannix? I assume you found your way easily
enough?"

Amaris hugged the girl back and, when introduced, curtsied to
Alice
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Alice. Welcome, to you,
Marion and Robin."
She turned back to Perta's enthusiastic questions
"Yes, they are here...everyone is in the garden waiting. We have
made a celebration out of your first visit. There is food and
drinks, and everything is lit up with tiny lanterns in the
trees. Come this way...Phobos and Deimos will be happy you
brought them snacks, Andrea has been watching them like a
hawk...she's sure they are going to steal all the food we have
laid out."
She offered Petra her hand and led them to the garden

Manix smiled at all the excitement.
"The girls also brought some fresh fruit to share. Shall I leave
it in you galley or bring it along?"

She smiled and took his arm
"Bring it along, we are having a party tonight ... add your
fruit to the feast."
She giggled and pulled him along to the garden. Andrea, Aliyna,
and Gavri'el were there waiting with the children. She
introduced everyone, including Phobos and Deimos - who instantly
ran to Petra upon seeing her, and who were currently trying to
get their noses into her pockets where she had tucked the
cheese.
"Enjoy the evening children, we adults will sit and talk while
you all get to know one another. "

Mannix smiled and nodded, bringing the bag along. He was
surprised she was pulling him along as she was, but she went. He
smiled and nodded, though. he would of sworn that Gavriel was
someone else. Was this a different face, or a person with the
same name. Best not to ask.

*Alice and Petra moved to be with the Kids and the Puppies
holding onto the Kits as they were still young to be roaming
about. Petra gave the Puppies their treats and then went talked
and ate and drink juice with the other kids. The "Grownups"
would notice that all the kids began to talk with Alice and
Petra and soon were laughing. Even the kid with Anger issues
softened up while not completely with them he was just on the
outskirts of them chatting and laughing.*

Amaris watched closely. Stephanos was her favorite, it made her
happy to see him smiling and laughing like a normal...well
normal-ish...kid. She wanted him to be happy. The others took
their issues in stride ... a matter of how life was. He was so
angry for no apparent reason...and little seemed to appease his
surly nature. To see him smiling was wonderful ... she nudged
Andrea
"It is good to see Stephanos smiling and laughing. Perhaps we
should do this more often."
