She smiled at Thomas' arrival then at Andrea's words..She held
the arrow out to Thomas then
"This one is different...look at the edges and the tip. "
She didn't mention it was almost lodged in her skull....and
wouldn't unless he asked.

the larger wound shut.
"Are you trying to make me a widow? "
She was visibly shaken, now. An arrow nearly tore through her
skull, but a small cut on him is what troubles her. She stopped
suddenly and looked at him
"Those crystal edges allow it to cut easier... it's cutting down
the resistance....."

And suddenly she was alone... no what? She tried not to think
about the possible danger to Andrea or Thomas... Finally she sat
and began to modify the soles of her feet. She would try several
different designs... pads like dogs, or rats, or even webbing
her toes ....trying to occupy her own mind was a full time job.
