A stream of Romanian curses poured out of her mouth in the
direction the arrow had come from. She looked at Andrea and
began to laugh.
"I am fine, but our murderous friend is not used to being
thwarted ...and this is twice I have seen his arrow miss the
mark. Twelve must not be his number.."
Damn, that could have hurt...a lot. She looked at the arrow then
back to Andrea
"Thomas is going to want that...yesterday."

The person was gone as soon as it left the string as I could not
see them

She would fill Andrea in on what she had learned of this
archer...and what had happened at Mikhail's ...
"But it seems random who he chooses, so I am uncertain if he was
aiming for me or just in general. As I said, 3 shots that night
within a minute...he could have done more. Maybe it was a test.
Either way, we need to find Thomas now."

I will walk you home to where the boys are and wait for Thomas
inside then I will head home and take care of there. You could
send photos out to get Thomas home

She paused searching for the right words

She smiled and felt better for having her stay with the archer
still out. Once they sent Phobos out , she sat down to look the
arrow over. It was undoubtedly the same as the other, but she
looked it over just the same to see if there were anything she
had missed on the other. This one was ...for being the
same...very different. It had not found it's mark. Short of
Andrea's catching it in flight, it was exactly as it was when
the archer nocked it. So she took the opportunity to look it
over closely. As she did she talked to Andrea
"That was quite impressive catch...but how did you know it was
coming?"

* The arrows we're identical minus the glistening edge and tip.

She smiled,
"Well, I am thankful for your sharp ears. I will have to add
this to my list of things I need to work on."
She made note of the odd edges to show Thomas when he arrived.
She also felt as if she should find out where the bodies were
taken...and perhaps visit Mikhail's gate.. if this is missing on
the others...where is it then? she walked over to show Andrea
the strange edges and tip
"This is odd... the others that hit their mark did not have this
... and I am almost certain that there was nothing left in the
old warrior's shoulder..I checked to bone fragments... Have you
even seen anything like this?"
