She turned her body sideways and let them pass on either side of
her as she turned to see what it was they were running
towards..she hoped that Mannix was wise enough to do the same..

Mannix took a step to the side so he could see the two men and
also what had been behind them, extending his vision so he could
see what they might be charging. Still he wasn't letting down
his guard in any direction, his sword at ready. The fact that
they wish to attack what was behind him perplexed him.

*They ran passed Mannix and Amaris and right at 2 others and
jumped them from behind attacking them violently and without
mercy as they all went crashing to the ground the sound of
slashing of skin and smell of blood began to drift towards them
as Mannix and Amaris begin to feel the Beast begin to rise in
them with the overwhelming scent of fresh blood pooling on the
pathway*

She watched only for a moment before the scent hit her...her
mood collapsed her will and she sprinted towards the pile of
men. She didn't make it very far ..as the Beast pushed forward
Mary screamed inside her head.
She dropped to the ground holding her head and growling as the
two battled within her.

Mannix had just spent blood in anticipation for the fight and he
felt his hunger rise. He did not give in to the beast or fight
it but rather moved fast to one and sunk teeth In deep to feed.

him hard knocking him clear of the body as the both saw Natalya
n in her normal fancy garb but more down to earth*

*she took the mans knife and finished him off along with the
other as two men gathered them over their shoulders and headed
off*
Are you two doing ok?
*Normally her voice was calm and collective tonight it seemed to
be truly demanding and full of Command*

Mannix frowned and shook his head before staying back up. He
nodded, avoiding words. He was irritated, something he rarely
was, and angry, an even rarer emotion for him.
"My apologies."
He meant it to sound apologetic and sincere, trying to keep any
surliness out of his voice.

Amaris remained on her knees but looks up at the sound of
Natalya's voice. Between the two.. Mary and Natalya, the Beast
inside her quieted. She stood and bowed to the blonde.
"I am fine,Lady Natalya. Thank you."
She was far from fine actually. Mary was still in her head,
unhappy about her clothes, her attempted actions and her
feelings of dread. The Mother turned Amaris towards Mannix.
"What has happened to my beloved Michael?"

Good you two are alright tonight has been very busy with such
strange behavior every where from calm ordinary individuals to
even Cainites have been affected
*she looked to Amaris*
Nothing that i know of has happened to the Patriarch , i have
received no word anyways

Mannix noticed the look from Amaris. It wasn't one of the start
looks and it made him cautious. Still it wasn't just the two of
them other wise he would have had her tell her story first. The
timing of Amaris visit and the words my Michael confirmed
something bad happened before he gotten there. Which explained
his father if not the strange man with the gleeful look at
Michael's torture.
He looked around and spoke quietly.
"He has taken the place of Christ 3 days before Easter."
