"I have a preference for rye and for honey cakes...but my
request is that when you make either bread or honey cake, you
make an extra loaf and leave it in the oven. Off to one side,
but leave it until at least the following day...it is a
tradition for luck from my country you see." He smiles almost
sheepishly as if she would be indulging him greatly by so doing.
Mikhail would ask this of the woman while Igor was away washing
up.
Mikhail himself sits at the table and compliments the women on
the food they set before him before tucking in heartily.

Mikhail shrugs at the woman's lack of knowing any stable boys
"it will not harm us men to care for the horses until we find
someone."
Upon spotting Igor's smirk he returns a knowing grin "they will
do very nicely as staff...and I think they will see to your
needs well enough too my friend." It was his turn to smirk even
as he pushes a plate towards the gray beard.
"Now for that extra training equipment, what do you think of
this idea? We have a stout wooden frame built in the courtyard,
from which we can suspend logs from row harnesses. That way it
would only take one or two trainers to go shoving the logs at
the trainee in the middle to act as multiple attackers." He
speaks of the idea with some excitement but that knowing grin
comes back again and again.

Mikhail waves a hand absently "no my friend, keep them for
yourself, just be careful not to get children on them unless
you've taken it into your head to marry." The idea amuses him
more than most and it shows.
"As for the Ice Maiden, I hold out for her name only...for now.
There are, other, ladies of interest as well." A smirk that
gives away no more.
"Good, when the courtyard is ready I'll send out the invitation
for a...friend...that will come use it, though it will be mostly
for us."

That got a good laugh "oh yes, the pious Igor marries two
women..." a smirk "...but then such was once permissible was it
not, so why not, save the lack of a sizable dowry?"
For a time he eats rather than answer the question but
eventually he shrugs. "Several, though I have decided nothing
about any of them. One is who I'm inviting to train with us..."
he watches Igor intently for a reaction to that.
