Mannix traveled to the Haga Sofia to meet his father. He had
been out of communication for the last week and then hadn't made
an appointment with the man for a week or more before that. He
knew his father tended to prefer to see him fairly often when he
was in town. He just didn't want to interrupt the man. Actually,
he was eager to see him and ask some questions. Hopefully he
wouldn't be too busy. If he was, then at least Mannix could
spend sometime in the library here.

Mannix blinked. He took in everything around him and his fathers
mein. He stood and walked to him bowing in front of him with his
head down.
"Forgive me father if I have vexed you."
He looked up into his fathers eyes.
"Tell me what is wrong."
He stood and walked behind he man, putting his hands on his
sires shoulders and starting to massage them.

Mannix stared at the man in disbelief. His sire had his faults
but killing monks was not something he had ever heard of the man
doing. His brain started to process this news.
"What was he doing ust prior to his..anger? Did he speak to
somene in particular, go to court? get a message?"
