A house with two mistresses..

She came awake in the darkness, confused about her whereabouts.
The warm honey tranquility was gone, replaced by the cool dark
emptiness. She wanted to weep for the loss but the confusion of
how she came to be here kept her from it. Where was the
brilliance of her beloved Michael?
She sat up and the sheet slid from her body revealing her state
of undress. She pulled it quickly around her before pulling her
knees to her chest and glancing about the room.. it had a
familiarity about it now, like she should know where she
was...the bed was large and soft beneath her....someone was
there with her ...was it Michael... she extended her hand to
touch him...
"Beloved Michael...what has happened...what is this dark place?"

*he had a sound of concern as he got out of the bed and light a
Lamp then 2 then 3 until was sufficeint light for her to see*

She flinched at the sound of his voice and scurried backwards
until she was against the headboard...
"But...but that cannot be...I was...."
...and then the light came on. And it was, in fact, Thomas ...
naked. She averted her eyes...
"Thomas...could you please cover yourself? I do not quite
understand what is happening, but what I am gathering disturbs
me."

"Can you explain how I came to be here, and why I am naked? I do
not remember any of these events..."
He let in the dogs and she patted the bed as she always did,
inviting them up. She rested her chin on her knees and her face
became a mask of intense concentration as she tried to piece
together what had happened. Suddenly she realized she was so
very hungry. She looked at him confused
" I ..am not sure...Mary keeps telling me I should not be
sleeping beside you like this as we ware not wed... it is hard
to think.."
Her face contorted and she pressed the heels of her hands to her
temples..
"I am so hungry...I need to feed. Maybe I can sort out the last
two nights if I am less distracted by hunger."

Mary? i am confused and you been away from her for 7 nights i
was able to bring you back her last night from your visit i
waited for you there every night all night. . .
*he did slowly approached her and lifted his arm to her*

Her brow furrowed in confusion
"Seven?...how?.. "
She remembered pieces... blurred and out of order. She closed
her eyes and tried to piece them together to make sense.
"I am Mary...was Mary...he called me Mother Mary...and I became
her... for him... he called me to him ... no he called and I
told him I was not her...but he is so beautiful...and her made
me her....and now she is in me...and I am his mother an he my
beloved Michael..and I sang to him..and we slept..and I saw him
die...and the city burn... and we rejoiced in his going
home...the figure in black released him...and the faithful of
the city ascended to heaven with as I watched..."
She opened her eyes
"Seven nights?...how? How could that be? "
She looked almost frightened as he came towards her, but she was
hungry and moved towards him, then Mary reminded her she was
still without clothes and so she stopped.
"Could I please have my clothes? ..and could you turn away while
I dress? Please?"

a set of clothes not the white robe she had but a set of her
normal clothes and then turned around and waited for her*
Yes was 7 nights ago you went to see him.. . I brought you home
last night. . .you were dazed and incoherent
*he waited for her to come fully back to him . . . he had never
heard of this happening beore to anyone and it made him a bit
nervous*

She smiled and took the clothes, waiting for him to turn around
before slipping out of bed and quickly putting on the red dress
... Mary was not happy with the red...or the way the the
neckline exposed so much skin. She looked for a scarf or shawl
but there was none so she covered her chest with her crossed
arms.
"Seven nights?...it seemed like nothing... you may turn around
now."
She stood there covering herself and looking as nervous as he
felt.
"Could I ...I mean...is your offer still open?"
