moving in and first commission

Jason surveys the studio and apartment as he sets down the last
of their personal possessions. He turns to Calliope and says,
"I'm going to sort out the tools for the workshop and get
started on the first commission."
After a couple of hours of setting up tool racks and carefully
placing their respective devices, Jason turned towards the table
where he had laid out the materials he intended to use for the
cameo portrait; primarily the sardonyx shell and fine drills.
Jason put the jeweler's loupe in his eye and got to work.

ensure everything was ready for him to succeed here in this

I am going to the market area to get food for tonight's dinner

Jason waves to her as she leaves and tells her to be careful,
before returing to the delicate work with the fine drills and
filds.

"I've made a good start," Jason replied, gesturing to the oval
slice of gemstone he was working on. "The blank is made and now
I can start the engraving. It should take a few more days, but
this is a good quality stone without noticable flaws. From here
on out is the real test of my skill."

Jason worked for another couple of hours before becoming
increasingly distracted by the smells of dinner and the growls
of his stomach. Setting aside his tools and jeweler's loupe,
Jason leaned back and stretched to let his muscles and joints
ease their tension with a chorus of cracks. Even as a Garou, he
found that he still grew sore when he worked in one position for
a long period of time.
Standing up, he covered his workbench with a cloth before
heading into the apartment area to see what was cooking.

Jason steps over to the washbasin and cleans off his hands and
face before setting out plates and flatware.
"How was the market," he asked as he settled at the table.

very nice. . . all sorts of things there will have to spend much
more time to look through it all. . . just let me know what you
might want and i will look for it and bring it home
*she set the stew up on the table with fresh bread once he came
to the table he found her serving him a bowl of it with a goblet
of wine*
