Revisiting wares

Mannix was out and about the city. He was revisiting the docks,
but coming from a different side of the city, so he could see
more, get to know more. He stopped and talk to various people,
merchants and the like, getting to know them and be known. He
wished to be part of the city, to be friends with its people, to
be useful to them. Meanwhile he had another purpose for this
trip. There was a woman that he wished to speak to. He brought
with his a small gift, precious though not incredibly expensive.
One of his sketches of the port and the people in it. Which
included her. In as in the new venetian style that was popular,
rather than the very old blocky style most religious books used
in their illuminations.
He walked till he was in sight of the shop front, hoping to see
her.

*she was there as usual as most just passed her by as she cause
a glimpse of Mannix heading towards her she waited to see or
hear what the Vile man wanted*

He made his way and finally arrived, smiling pleasantly.
"Good evening Lady Allison. I hope you are doing well."

He nodded.
"I understand you think ill of me. I know a smile will not
change that. But I would ask that you speak to me and maybe let
me try and give youmy name and prove it. I would also like to
ask you about the rather.. gifted pendant you gave my adopted
daughter."

I do not see how my talking to you will change my feelings or
views. . . i will tell you one more time your Aura Reeks of
being an Usuroer

you are very paranoid person arent you. . . worried that a gift
will cause You harm.. . .not the simple fact it brings her joy

He smiled and shook his head.
"Oh no, the fact that it gives her joy is important to me. Which
is why I came to you, to see if you have any intentions that
might be untoward. The way she found joy in it smacks of
persuasion, a skill I am well versed in. My father excels in it
and I have a small gift to it as well. But I have never used it
on her. Meanwhile she merely opened the package and became
incredibly enamored with, more than anything since and
afterwards. are you telling me you had nothing to do with this?"

He smiled.
"Of course I did. But I also wondered. She has had wonder at
many things. But this.. this affects her differently. Still, I
am not being aggressive or unpleasant, I am attempting to ask
you about it. You see, I am a bit Naive. It comes from my
background. I have been told this repeatedly. But her safety and
happiness are important to me. So I came to ask is there
anything on the pendant? Is it is empowered in any way?"
