"Your statement makes an implication, that just as I am doing
well at being a student I am not doing well in another field. Or
am I reading too much into your words? I do that sometimes. It
comes from being surrounded by those with a political bent.
Nothing can be fully trusted no matter how much you wish to do
       so."

i would say you are reading to much into a simple sentence. but
then again if you do that more you will read even more into me
saying that. . . It is a Hard Habit to get out of and can
unnerve people. Make them not want to talk to you if you second
guess every word spoken to you
       *he nodded*
and is it not tedious to always be on guard. . at time i can
understand but every waking minutes. . . too much for me

"Do I strike you as the kind always on guard?"

Yes. . .you do you act a lot of the time as if someone is going
to sneak up behind you and take advantage of you.. . . has it
       happened?
*Cassius watched on seeing how he reacted*

       Mannix thought about that.
"Not really. Oh, I have been painted into many corners in
conversation, in arguments and in discussions. I have been told
I am Naive and too trusting quite a bit. Not just by my father
either. It seems to be the number one thing people seem to want
to tell me. It makes me feel like I have to be more alert.
People telling me those I interact with are going to take
everything they can from me and leaving me holding the woes and
       blame of Damascus."

That sounds a bit harsh. . If I came across like then I am
sorry.but what matters is do you see yourself in that light?
*he looked up from the piece that was being studied*

He looked as if he didn't understand the question completely.
"You mean Naive? I don't know. I try to believe the best in
people till they show me otherwise.""

       *Cassius asked back to Mannix*

       He frowned.
"I am not sure I understand that. what do you mean trust easy
but dont return it. You mean they are trusting doesn't return
       it?"

some people in down will completely trust something someone says
but they don't feel comfortable giving trust. . . did i word
       that better?
*he asked hopeing it came out right that time*
