If Mannix was going to know the people of the city, he would
have to get to know the city again, So he wandered the areathis
night, seeing what there was to see. The harbor, the churches,
the tower. He stopped at the church of Michael to drop off a
gift but he didn't really want to go in because he knew he would
be there much too long. With him on his trip this night he took
Petra, so she could explore with him, see the city more.

He walked with her through the churches, looking and pointing
out things, then along a point where you could see a bit of the
city, before heading down toward the docks. Unlike some of the
more southern docks, these were central to the city and bustling
and well lit. Not dark forbody docks at night here. Fishermen
and ships worked night and day in Constantinople.

* while looking and watching the bustle of people in the dock
area from going and arriving there were merchants selling and
buying centered around the fishermen. One thing was odd he
noticed one peddler at a shop that had no one entering or
leaving. Was s middle aged woman but no signs of great amounts
of wear and tear*

Mannix frowned but then looked interested. He walked with Petra
over toward the shop. He was curious why no one was entering or
leaving.
"Good evening Lady. I am curious as to what kind of goods your
shop offers."

*she looked to Mannix then back to Petra handing her a small
box*
a gift for you and I do not sell anything I just give out gifts
to people to make them smile

He smiled at the woman. He liked her smile, even with the
missing tooth. It added character.
"This is Petra and I am Mannix. It is good to meet you, Allison.
So how can you tell a persons heart?"
He did not ask about his own heart. He was sure it ws not pure,
despite what his father seemed to think. He was not as innocnt
as Petra proved to be, even though he had met her when she had
robbed him.

He smiled.
"She is a good person. I am proud of her. I don't imagine I am
even close to as innocent. May I ask how you see such? Are you a
visionary?"
He was curious what she saw when she looked at him but was
unsure if it was wise to ask(note he has the flaw mystical aura)
