She entered the Hagia Sofia and accosted the first official she
came across at this late hour.
"Pardon me, I need to see Petronius the Arbiter on an important
matter. Could you please direct me to him?"

She listened as he finished his sermon, and smiled kindly to
those who exited at it's end. When greeted by the Arbiter
himself, she curtsied ..
"Lord Petronius, I would have come earlier had I known your were
delivering a sermon tonight. However hearing that small bit has
strengthened my resolve in this matter. I have come to speak
with you about the children at the orphanage."
She paused a moment
"I remember there were many unfortunate children who were
abandoned due to physical abnormalities. I would be honored to
be doing the Lord's work by bringing several into my household.
I have hope that this would ease the burden on the nurses there
and perhaps - if the Lord allows - those I take in could benefit
from more.....personal attention."

*he quietly listened to her as thoughts ran through his head*
This is to bring glory to God by helping fulfill the need to
have man serve Him?
* He was watching her reactions as he did all who came before
him*

"Of course, but more, it will also serve to fulfill the human
need to serve the Lord. For what are we if not in service to
Him?"
She took his hands in hers and looked him steadily in the eyes
"Lord Patronius, many of these children may be physically
impaired but their minds can be filled with the glory of God.
Many may be helped to overcome their physical burdens, and in
that, become not only better servants to the Lord- but proof of
what can be accomplished with faith in Him! ....I had a vision
upon taking in two aged couples to my household ... they do what
they can but are physically infirm for much household labor
.....but Lord Petronius... they still have so much to give....
love in their hearts, and arms to cradle a child, and voices to
school those children in the scriptures. Their bodies will have
a chance to heal and learn...their service to the Lord will be
greater...and they will be spared a future where unscrupulous
individuals would prey upon them."

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity to bring about Glory to God.
. . but I would like you to start with only a few on a trial
see how things turn out.
*He started to walk and having her come with him*
say 4 kids ? does that sound ok to you?

She smiled and followed along,
"Four would be perfect actually, I would not want to overwhelm
my new servants."
As the walked, she asked him about Michael..
"....I have been away for many years, is he fairing well?"

The Patriarch is as illlumianecent as ever shining his light
outward so all may bask in his light the reflection of God
Himself.. .
*he made a clap of his hand and a young Page maybe 12 years of
age came into the room and stood by as Petronius went to a table
using pen and ink scribed out a note then sealed it with
Michaels seal*
Take this to the Nuns at the Orphanage
*the boy took the scroll and ran off*
They will have things in order for you when you arrive. Good to
have another child return to the City

She nodded,
"Thank you Lord Petronius. Would it be acceptable for me to
visit the children tonight then pick them up tomorrow evening?
This would give them a chance to meet me and get used to the
upcoming change in familiar surroundings...and by tomorrow
evening my household will have had time to set up proper rooms
for them."

they are yours to mold either beginning tonight or tomorrow. . .
How was your journeys away from the City?
*he watched her a bit as they walked more*
Did you and My Child arrive on the same boat? *
*was a curious question coming from him*
