Revolutions of the steering wheel - what's yours?

I have been experimenting with steering lock, trying to work out
what size sprocket to use, as my car has a cable steering
       system.
How far do you have to turn your steering wheel to get full
       lock?
I ask because I want to know what is normal and what I should be
       trying to achieve.

currently, my cable has to travel 22cm (each way). If I am to
turn my steering wheel one half revolution, that will mean
       needing a sprocket with a 44cm circumference, so has a 14cm
diameter. (I am using a sprocket and chain, not a bobbin)

Less than half a turn lock to lock with a Pitman arm! Very
       quick😶

lock to lock? Crikey. Doesn't seem much point in having a full
       steering wheel!
Mine is currently half turn per lock

Quarter turn on a good day. Bit twitchy but keeps you focused!

My full size Morgan (genuine car) is about 2/3 (two thirds) lock
       to lock.

2/3 lock to lock is amazing. I suspect mine will be 1/3 less
efficient, but maybe with my steering a more sedate action will
       be sensible; who knows
But thank you all for your advice

Just to put some perspective, the traction engine I drove was 52
       turns lock to lock :)
