CKGB Club Meeting / Builders Meeting 5th March 2022.
DIR By: Graham Hill
Date: January 24, 2022, 6:23 am
---------------------------------------------------------
The venue for the meeting is The British Motor Museum,
Warwickshire CV35 0BJ (subject to booking confirmation). Thanks
to Jim. More details to follow.
Part of the day will be allocated to our traditional ‘Builders’
Meeting’. I’m starting to collect ideas. Does anybody have a
request for a particular topic for discussion? Anything that is
causing puzzlement? Any new ideas/developments? Does anybody
want to bring something for a talk or discussion?
Also would anybody like to see a completed CycleKart (or two) if
they were trailered to the car park?

Update
The British Motor Museum in Warwickshire is a fantastic venue
now booked for Saturday 5th March.
HTML https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/.
(Thanks Jim). This is our
first engagement of 2022 allowing us to meet again as a group.
It is also a great opportunity for ‘newbies’ to come for a chat
and learn more. Following the formation of a small interested
group in 2018, this meeting includes the creation of the formal
CKGB Club. This is a fresh opportunity to reinforce that going
forward we wish to be seen as a ‘fully inclusive’ club, dipping
into the motoring history of yesterday and also representing all
that is good about living in the UK today. Everybody is welcome.
Fee £10
Provisional agenda for the day.
10.00. Museum open. Grab a coffee
10.30. Conference Room. Inaugural meeting of the CycleKartsGB
Club. All welcome but only those intending to formally join as a
club will be able to vote. Chair Stefan Nahajski. Brief agenda
including voting on committee. *
11.00. Short break
11.15. Conference Room. General Builders meeting. All welcome.
Includes:
Review of events for 2022 / Review discussion on CK Classes,
engines etc. / Random Technical Issues / The Stan Cup
12.30. Lunch Break (20% off in the restaurant)
PM . Free time to view the museum / View CycleKarts in the
carpark / CK Parts Swap-Meet, Sale/Freebies in car park / (Note
the conference room is available to us all day if small groups
wish to meet informally)
17.00. Museum Closes
* NOTE. Any person who is intending to become a paid member but
cannot make the meeting and wishes to vote on the selection of a
committee can do so by either joining us in the meeting by
‘Zoom’, or contacting Stefan direct with a proxy vote. Either
choice, please contact Stefan direct.
For reference, details on the intended formation of a club with
attachments is previously posted here

Thanks all for setting this up.
I intend to bring along a variety of surplus parts, some old,
mainly new for "CK jumble". There will be rod ends, bearings,
clutch, etc. Also a selection of motoring books which a person I
know donated. The books will be sold to put some £ in the club
coffers as per his suggestion.
The more there is, the better.
